Tasty And Healthy Snacks – Spinach–Paneer Kebab Recipe

Today I am sharing with you a delicious kebab recipe made with Spinach and Paneer (Cottage Cheese). It is an easy to make Kebab recipe, tasty,healthy and very quick and easy to prepare. You can have it as a starter or as a tea time snacks.

Cooking time – 30 minutes.  Serve – 4

Ingredients –

1.Chopped Spinach – 1 bowl.

2.Boiled potato (medium) – 1 (peeled and mashed)

3.Cottage cheese (paneer) – 100 grams.(mashed)

4.Ginger paste – 1/2 tsp.

5.Garlic paste – 1/2 tsp.

6.Green chilly – 2 (finely chopped)

7.Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp.

8.Salt to taste.

9.Sugar – a pinch.

10.Bread crumbs – 2 tbsp.

11.Oil – 4 to 5 tbsp.

12.Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp.

Method –

1.Boil 4 cups of water in a frying pan, add the chopped spinach. Boil for 1 minute and transfer to a colander. Grind the boiled spinach to a paste. In a large bowl add the spinach paste and all the ingredients (except oil). Mix the mixture properly. The mixture should be dry.If needed add little bread crumbs or plain flour. Divide the mixture into balls and shape them according to your choice (with oiled hand).

2.Heat 2 to 3 tbsp.of oil in a griddle. Place the kebabs on hot griddle and cook over slow flame until brown. Flip the kebabs, add 2 tbsp.of oil and cook until brown. Cook 3 to 4 kebabs at a time. Tasty and healthy Spinach-Paneer Kebab is ready to serve. Garnish with salads and serve with ketchup or chutney.
