Sweet Fritters with ripe Jackfruit / Kathaler Mishti Pakora

Hi Friends,

Today I am sharing a sweet snack recipe made with ripe Jackfruit. It’s a unique recipe of Jackfruit.It’s very quick and easy to prepare and requires very few ingredients.It’s a simple recipe but very tasty.

Sweet Jackfruit Fritters

Cooking Time – 30 minutes Serve – 4

Ingredients:-

  1. Ripe Jackfruit Pulp – 2 cups
  2. Semolina (Suji) – 1 cup
  3. Sugar – 1/2 cup
  4. Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp.
  5. Flour (Maida) – 1/2 cup
  6. Veg oil for deep frying

Method:-

  1. At First, Discard the seeds from the jackfruit arils.Blend the flesh to a smooth pulp.Transfer the pulp to a large bowl.Add Semolina to it.Allow it to rest for 20 minutes.
  2. After 20 minutes, Add Sugar, Cardamom Powder and  flour to this mixture and mix very well. The mixture should be a thick/tight consistency. If the mixture becomes thin, mix some more flour to it.Now let it rest for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat enough oil in the frying pan.When it becomes hot, reduce the heat. Take a small portion of the mixture and make little balls and drop into the hot oil. Fry the balls, till they turn golden brown.Drop 5 to 6 balls at a time (The temperature of the oil should be low). Now increase the heat and take out the fried balls from the oil and put on paper towels.Repeat the same process for the remaining mixture.

Delicious Sweet Fritters with ripe Jackfruit is ready to serve. Enjoy this yummy snacks with your family and friends.
