Easy To Make Mango Jam

Today I am sharing with you very quick and easy to make Mango Jam recipe . It is a simple recipe, you need only 2 to 3 ingredients for making this awesome sweet dish. But remember use fresh and sweet ripe mangoes with least of strings. If your mangoes have strings, strain the mango pulp with a wire strainer. you also have add lemon juice when making jam. It plays very important role. Lemon juice which is rich in pectin, helps to set your jam and to prevent the growth of Bacteria. So always add little amount of lemon juice when making jam.

Cooking time —-20 minutes Serve -4

Ingredients –

  1. Ripe mango —-500 grams.
  2. Sugar – 2 to 3 tbsp. (depending on the sweetness of the mangoes)
  3. Lemon juice – 1 tbsp.

Instructions

Remove the skin and seed of mango and chop roughly. Using a blender puree the mango. Transfer the mango pulp to a cooking pan. Mix sugar and cook on low heat for about 8 to 10 minutes. Stir constantly to prevent burning. If the mango pulp are quite juicy then simmer it a little longer. When the pulp starts thickening add lemon juice and simmer for 30 seconds.

Delicious Mango Jam is ready, it will set and thicken once it cool down.
