Ingredients –
- Boneless Chicken (cut into medium pieces) – 400 gms
- Soya sauce – 2 tbsp.
- Tomato sauce – 1 tbsp.
- White oil – 50 grams.
- Green chilly – 4 (chopped)
- Onion (large) – 1 (cut into squares)
- Capsicum – 1 (cut into squares)
- Ginger paste – 1/2 tsp.
- Garlic paste – 1/2 tsp.
- Chilly paste – 1/2 tsp.
- Sugar – 1/2 tsp.
- Salt to taste.
- Corn flour – 3 tbsp.
- Egg – 1 (beaten)
- Garlic (chopped) – 1 tbsp.
- Ginger(juliennes) – 1 tbsp.
Method –
- Wash the Chicken cubes. Add ginger-garlic paste,sugar,salt and beaten egg (1/2) to it.mix well.Then add 1 tsp.of soya sauce and 2 tbsp.of corn flour, mix well and keep it rest for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes fry the coated chicken cubes until golden brown on both sides. Remove from heat and keep aside.
- Heat 2 tbsp. of oil. Add chopped garlic,onion.capsicum and ginger(juliennes) and stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Add soya sauce, tomato sauce, sugar and salt. Saute for 1 minutes. Add fried chicken cubes and saute for 2 minutes. Dissolve corn flour in 1/2 cup of water and add to the pan,mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Remove pan from heat.
- Chilly Chicken is ready. Serve with fried rice/jeera rice Or roti/paratha.
